Tri-State Vascular Group, PSC

Tri-State Vascular Group provides a unique integrated service, utilizing the resources of the Surgical Group, to provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for patients with Vascular disease. Services will be rendered  primarily by a patient care initiative where the knowledge and skills of our vascular surgeons will be available to each individual that seeks our care Under the direction of Dr. Abul-Khoudoud who is certified by the American Board of Surgeons in both General and Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Abul-khoudoud is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the International Society of Endovascular Specialists. He completed his general surgery residency at Union Memorial Hospital and his vascular surgery fellowship at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ.


Dr. Abul-Khoudoud comes to the Tri-State area from the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  At Union Memorial Hospital, he was the Co-Director of Vascular Research at the Division of Vascular Surgery and a member of the vascular and endovascular surgery staff and faculty from January 2005 to March 2006.

Prior to that, he was at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis as the Assistant Professor of Surgery and the Associate Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship program from October 2001 to January 2005.  Concurrently, he was the Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee and their vascular non-invasive laboratory's medical director.

At present, he is King's Daughters Medical Center's Vascular Services Medical Director and the Chief of the Department of Surgery in Ashland, Kentucky.

Dr. Omran Abul-Khoudoud provides services at both King's Daughters Medical Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky.
